Model and Open-Source Notices
Aqua combines independently published local models and tools. Their licences and terms remain separate from Aqua, and no affiliation or endorsement is claimed.
Public beta composer
The initial public beta limits ordinary accounts to ACE-Step 1.5, whose published source and model materials are provided under the MIT licence. Its local Qwen text and embedding components are provided under Apache-2.0. Model output remains probabilistic and these licences do not grant rights in a user’s input material.
Voice conversion
Authorised saved-voice conversion uses Seed-VC, published under GPL-3.0, with Demucs and BigVGAN under MIT and Whisper and CAMPPlus under Apache-2.0. A software or model licence never supplies consent to use another person’s voice.
Local Aqua SI
Aqua SI uses OpenAI’s gpt-oss:20b open-weight model under Apache-2.0 and is also subject to the publisher’s usage policy. It runs through the MIT-licensed Ollama runtime on Aqua’s private worker. Aqua SI uses text inference and, where enabled, a separate limited document-processing pipeline. It does not execute arbitrary uploaded scripts or grant the model general access to the host filesystem or customer devices.
Audio tools
Aqua uses an LGPLv3-or-later FFmpeg build from the Windows providers linked by FFmpeg for audio conversion and MP3/WAV handling. Additional pitch and speaker-analysis components include RMVPE and CAMPPlus under their published MIT and Apache-2.0 terms.
Other installed engines
Stable Audio, MiniMax Music 3 and Ming may be installed for owner testing. They are withheld from ordinary public-beta accounts unless their exact deployed versions and commercial terms receive a separate review. MiniMax Music 3 has its own attribution and commercial-use conditions; Stable Audio model weights use Stability AI and component-specific terms.
Synthetic audio
Aqua labels exports as synthetic and records generation provenance where supported. These labels are not a cryptographic watermark or a guarantee that a user owns every input.
